We have many sources for all types of furniture, whether it is bought, antique or made to order. Upholstery
With an increasing amount of sofas and chairs on offer to buy on the high street or over the internet, we believe it is important to stress to our clients not to be drawn in too much as you still get what you pay for and the high street plays a big restriction on choice.
If you want to spend as little as possible on upholstered furniture the best thing to do is to wait for a sale, but you need to bare in mind the quality of the item you are purchasing and whether it will stand the test of time. If you are being more sensible you will spend a little bit more on an item that is far more comfortable and sturdy and gives you the option for much greater choice in fabrics and cushion fillings. We have contacts with a vast array of companies that give much more freedom, some of which still sell to the high street directly or indirectly, but all of which offer a greater variety of styles and designs. On occasion it is necessary to have a bespoke piece made which we can either achieve through some of the bigger manufacturers or through one of our upholsterers who can also recover your old furniture at a competitive price. Wooden & Painted Furniture
As with upholstered furniture the quality of the product you buy is totally dependant on budget. We prefer to buy wooden furniture directly from the manufacturer or from smaller companies with a known source. Our suppliers cover modern and traditional solid wood, carved and veneered furniture with stained, polished or painted finishes.
If a bespoke piece is required, we have many capable joiners and specialist decorators who can finish the pieces with paint or gilt.
Metals & Other Furniture
We also have sources for internal and external metal, wicker and plastic furniture as well as a great contact for office furniture.
